Cloud 9 outplays, TSM gets revenge, and Dignitas throws to kick off NA LCS Superweek 8

This jam-packed week for the North American LCS starts off with three explosive matches.

C9 Vs EG
The Evil Geniuses had an impressive start, with Pobelter beating out Hai with LeBlanc, while Snoopeh heavily counterjungled Meteos with Evelynn. The stunlock combo of Morgana and Jinx by Krepo and Yellowpete also gave Sneaky and Lemonation a hard time. Sadly for EG, the entire game turned on its head from an early roam by Lemonation's Thresh, who managed to catch Snoopeh out with a hook and thus giving first blood to Hai. This allowed the C9 midlaner to finally be able to burst down LeBlanc and even out his gold deficit.

From then on it was all Cloud 9, containing EG and taking over most of the map. There was a small glint of hope as Snoopeh was able to smite steal the baron versus Meteos, a difficult feat. However, with the item advantage C9 had, they simply played it safe and let the baron buff burn, then pushed mid with a smart map maneuver, which lead to them aceing EG and taking the game.

CST Vs TSMNintendudeX once again was godlike in his reads, able to predict Xpecial's flash and land the Vault Breaker to help Team Coast get first blood. Dyrus was able to contain ZionSpartan, using the high early game pressure from Renekton. But for the most part, the game was even through the laning phase.

Then, Coast started to make poor engages. These led to Team Solomid slowly gaining a stronger and stronger lead. Reginald was able to prove that he still has the moves, not dying even once and landing precise ults to isolate CST members. Come late game, TSM was way too strong to CST to handle, even with Shiptur's Nidalee trying to soften them out with spears. TSM eventually closed out the game in a solid fashion, cementing their lead in the split.

CLG Vs DIG
The game started with towers falling down quickly, as Dignitas lane swapped due to Nien busting out a Ryze out of nowhere. However, Counter Logic Gaming got better map control with the CLG top laner freezing the lane, allowing him to catch up in farm and levels, which was done by Cruzer on Mundo going to the jungle during the tower rush. The gold lead stayed even though, as Scarra had a bigger cs lead than Link, in addition to Cruzer's.

Later on, Dignitas made some terrible rotations, which allowed CLG to move around and take out more and more towers. However, the AoE power of DIG's comp kept them in line. Unfortunately, one bad call by Scarra and his team (a baron attempt) threw the game for them, getting them aced and allowing CLG to take out the Nexus.

Nasus visual update: old dog, new stick

Nasus is shaking off years of rough abrasion from the sands and returning to the battlefield with a complete visual update. Armored with refined plate and a higher fidelity look for his signature halberd, Nasus's new model reflects his unbounded intellect and immense power.
Beyond the new model, all of Nasus's abilities, animations and particles have been updated. His ultimate, Fury of the Sands, summons the ferocity of the desert tempest, and Spirit Fire burns with arcane etching upon the ground. Along with his model and visual changes, the Curator of the Sand's sound effects and voiceover have been updated and expanded, exposing more of the vast archive in Nasus's mind.

Carry Time: A Guide To Caitlyn

My favorite champion (ADC or otherwise) is Caitlyn, the Sheriff of Piltover. She is one of the most picked champions in ranked and competitive play and it is clear why: Caitlyn has the highest attack range in the game along with amazing poking and push ability and massive amounts of damage. If you build her right, she is a force to be reckoned with on Summoners Rift.
